Creating and Managing Email Aliases on Greenmor Mail
Step 1:
Understand Email Aliases
- An alias is not a separate mailbox—it forwards incoming mail to your chosen mailbox.
- You cannot log in directly with an alias address.
- Aliases share the same storage and sending limits as the primary mailbox.
Step 2:
Adding an Alias
- Go to admin.greenmormail.com.
- Log in with your admin credentials (not mailbox credentials).
- Click Add Alias.
- Enter the alias name (e.g., support, or yourname).
- Select the domain where you want to add an alias.
- Assign the alias to the mailbox that should receive the emails.
- Save your changes.
Step 3:
Managing Aliases
- To delete or reassign an alias, return to admin.greenmormail.com and click Overview.
- Select the domain where the alias is present.
- Activate/deactivate or delete aliases as needed.
Emails already received via the alias will remain in the mailbox, even if the alias is later removed.
