Creating and Managing Email Filters in Greenmor Mail
Step 1:
Things to Know Before Creating Filters
- Filters apply only to incoming emails.
- You can set multiple conditions (sender, subject, recipient, etc.).
- You can choose from different actions (move, copy, forward, mark as read, delete, etc.).
Step 2:
Access the Filter Settings
- Log in to webmail.greenmormail.com with your mailbox credentials.
- From the left sidebar click on Settings and select Filters.
Step 3:
Create a New Filter
- Give your filter a name (e.g., “Newsletters” or “Priority Clients”).
- Under Filter Rules, set conditions like:
From → contains → example.com
Subject → contains → “Invoice” - Under Filter Actions, choose what should happen:
Move message to folder → “Invoices”
Forward message to another address
Delete message
Step 4:
Save and Activate the Filter
- After configuring, click Save.
- Ensure the filter is enabled.
- Test by sending yourself a sample email to confirm it works.
